Connie,
Kent and I want to thank you very sincerely for all your help planning our recent trip to Disney World. We had an excellent vacation!
Our first stop on our first day was Mary Queen of the Universe Shrine. Thanks to you, we had the opportunity to enjoy this magnicent Church. Had you not told us about it, we would have missed out on an amazing experience!
You were right on the money when you suggested that we rent a car. Disney World is HUGE! To think that we were going to waste all that time waiting for shuttles! Just to take Mears Transportation from the airport to our hotel and back would have cost us $158 US. You found us a great car at a great price and we were delighted to have the freedom to come and go as we pleased!
Your advice with regards to the parks and attractions to visit was very helpful and guided us as we planned our days. You were right about so many things! We loved Hollywood Studios!
The 6-day passes with water parks and Disney Quest turned out to be the right fit for us. We got to see just about everything in the theme parks and took rests in between at Blizzard Beach and Typhoon Lagoon. We went to Disney Quest in Downtown Disney two evenings and had a blast with the kids. They even taught ME how to play "guitar hero"!
Thanks again for your very efficient, personal service. Your expertise made a big difference and helped us enjoy a trip of a lifetime with our family!
Sincerely,
Michele Brubaker - Walt Disney World

It was March and we were planning to use all those Airmile points to get to our favorite destination (Cook Islands) in July. No openings! Connie asked,"Will you let me try something else?""Have you ever been to the Caribbean?" We hadn't been in that region and our answer was "Yes". Our interests are active ones, snorkeling, golfing, walking, playing tennis. Connie suggested Almond Beach Village on the west coast of Barbados.
This family oriented resort is a lively place that caters to travelers of all ages. With special areas and programs for toddlers through teenagers, adult and seniors can get away from it all, yet still observe the scene from the comfort of their balcony or terrace. Lovely surroundings, beautiful views, and several restaurants with excellent quality and choice make this all inclusive establishment has just the right mix.
So what does Barbados and Almond Beach Village have to offer?
- Barbados is a small tropical island that is easy to get to and once there navigating by public transportation is safe and easy. It has a laid back island culture, interesting native crafts, historic sights, and some beautiful scenery. The golf courses (Sandy Lane and Royal Westmoreland) are spectacular. The Graeme Hall Nature Sanctuary is a wonderful wetland reserve filled with birds and excellent examples of tropical flowering plants. The exchange rate favours the Canadian dollar and it seemed that every Bajan we met had either been to or had relatives in Canada. What a change from being mistaken for our southern neighbours!
- Almond Beach Village personnel are genuinely interested in tourism and their guests. For an establishment that caters to 200+ this is quite a feat. The snorkeling (turtle and fish feeding) available from the beach is great. The all inclusive plan was economical and very good value for money. The food at Enid's, The Reef, and La Smaritta is all excellent, the local beer is good. Say no to the house wines, both red and white are terrible (Bring some of your own favourites with you from Canada; we were very glad that we did).
Would we return? You bet, in fact we are just trying to get those dates chosen so that Connie can work her magic for us for next year.

Thank you Connie for your incredible patience in dealing with all of our uncertainty about the number of people and our dates for traveling to Cuba and Mexico this winter! Despite our numerous changes, you met our needs and we had a wonderful holiday. I hope I am never in a situation that tests your patience like this again and please know that you are the best travel agent I have ever worked with. Thank you.

This summer, my husband and I planned a trip of a lifetime to China. Connie was with us every step of the way in our planning. She helped find the best priced airfares, answered our numerous questions, and assisted us in choosing an amazing adventure company to do our tour through-Imaginative Traveller. Dave and I travelled from Hong Kong to Beijing and all the major sights in between for three weeks. Seeing the Terracotta Warriors in Xi'an, cruising the Li and Yangste Rivers, cycling through the rice-patty countryside of Yangshuo, hiking a remote section of the Great Wall and meeting the amazing people of China are memories we will have forever. China is a truly culturally rich country to travel through and I would recommend it to anyone. We so appreciated how Connie went the extra mile to make our trip the best we have ever gone on. We cannot wait to plan our next trip!
