Sandy went above expectations! we recieved e-mails and information at all hours, well into the evening. (After hours) Last minute insurance was added without a hitch with in an hour. When we first inquired about a holiday we had e-mail with 6 to 8 resort options meeting our criteria with in hours with follow up. (OUTSTANDING SERVICE) We had a great Vacation - Thank you!

Thanks for letting us know about the change, I had noticed that when I checked in for our flight.Everything went very smoothly on our flight down and the Barcelo hotel even had someone waiting with a free shuttle. The tour with carivan was excellant, we saw a lot of the country and the people on the tour were all very sociable even though we were the only Canadians. We stayed at new J W Marriott in Guanacaste, what a place that was!! The tour guide was amazing and she even is going to pick us up in Jaco on her next string of days off and take us to her place for the day. The food was wonderful just too much of it. I don't know how Carvivan does it for that reasonable of a fare.

OMG our cruise to Alaska was fantastic, seamless and was the best holiday idea for every age..... truly would go on a disney cruise again in a heartbeat The ship was amazing. We rented kayaks & saw the Napali Coast of Kauai from the water up – the shoreline was magnificent – the tour company then provided lunch & we hiked for about 2 miles up into the rain forest & saw valleys & volcanos, a must do for anytime we will return to Kauai will be to hike more of this trail. We ended the day by watching the sunset from Henolei Bay. We met someone that had went on a helicopter tour of the island & said this island truly looked to be the most beautiful, we tend to agree, Thank you to you Sandy for your expertise and professionalism that you provided while booking our dream vacation. We truly are grateful for suggesting we see Hawaii by cruise ship we had an amazing vacation.

Hi Sandy- how are things? I’ve been meaning to tell you just how much I appreciated how you took care of all of us on the cruise. You do a great job of managing travel situations & I never got around to telling you that I noticed your skills and patience and good sense. Thank you! I had a great vacation, it was fun and I never really felt anxious or in danger. Things turned out fine, and the 2 extra days in New Jersey were actually a great adventure. I think I would do it again, should there ever be another trip planned.

The resort was beautiful! It's a wonderful place to take younger kids. The beach was amazing, the pools were VERY clean. The restaurants were awesome. Thanks for everything you did to make our destination wedding happen!

We had a wonderful holiday in Ixtapa, the weather was beautiful, 28C to 32C everyday. The resort was very clean, clean sheets and towels everyday. Lots of fun around the pool. The town was very nice and very clean, it was also very nice to be able to walk to town. Only having one choice in buffet and 1 al a cart restaraunt did get a little boring the food was good, but not a huge variety. Very nice restaurants in town, with Franks being one of our favourites! His amazing shrimp meal absolutely fantastic, and enough for Henry and I to share! The Beach was great, but the water a little rough for us to go into, so we walked the beach, and spent a lot of time relaxing at the pool!
This is the second time that we have been at a 3 1/2 star resort, and will have no hesitation at doing it again, we found the people and the staff much nicer!
Thank you for sending us to this resort, we had a wonderful time with our family!

Thanks for another wonderful holiday and all of the memories on our Chicks from the Sticks Cruise & getaway. I am still trying to get back on track and settle down to the routines. I am already thinking that another cruise must be in my future as I can’t think of another holiday that would compare to the last two. I don’t know if you heard but Mary Jane re broke her arm on the last day of the holiday and is in Red Deer Hospital waiting for surgery. If we are planning another trip my vote would be for a cruise. Don’t really care where. Thanks again Sandy for a well organized group trip.

We were married in April of 2009 at Sandals Royal Caribbean in Jamaica. Thank you so very much Sandy in all of your assistance in the planning & booking our Destination Dream Wedding.
Initially, we had asked Sandy to find us an All Inclusive resort that offered free weddings; we wanted it all but really cheap. Well the saying you get what you pay for really does apply. We wanted to go away and get married "a big party" after researching way too many hotels; Sandy listened to what we were saying.
So far we had been trying to accommodate everyone else on finding the perfect destination and hotel for our wedding. The wedding and surroundings were more important to us than anything we decided on having a wedding away with only us and one other couple instead of the thirty people we initially wanted to join us. By doing this we were able to focus on what really mattered to us “Cindy & Tom". We spent one fabulous week with our witness's (2 very close friends) and the other week by ourselves. Thank you Sandy for your suggestions and all arrangements you made to make our wedding day the most memorable, we will cherish forever.

Dear Sandy,
It was great to have your services for our trip to Cuba. You were very helpful, professional, and promptly got back to us regarding questions or concerns we had. The Puntarena resort had its pros and cons. It was a beautiful location and the pool was fabulous. The people were really friendly and the service was great. They really went out of their way to host a fabulous New Year's Eve supper and New Year's Day pig roast with all the fixings -even cotton candy for the kids. Although the food wasn't great, we always found enough to satisfy us at each meal. the water spots on the beach were fun and the beach volleyball was a hit. The night shows were O.K. It wasn't always suitable for families and the music was way too loud.
The activites we did off the resort included jet skiing, a trip to Havanna with a local personal guide, and a snorkel/cave tour. All of the tours were great (except getting stung by a jellyfish.) You would think they might cancel the snorkelling for a safer day. Swimming in the caves was amazing!
We stopped at Jibacoa to check out the previous hotel we had booked into and it looked like it would have been a very quiet, family suitable resort. Maybe next time. Overall, I would rate this holiday as one of my favorites.

Just wanted to give you our opinion of the Marina El Cid Spa and Resort. We were a group of nine and everyone of us absolutely loved it. The ages of our group ranged from 13 – 48 and there was something for everyone. The staff were all so friendly and helpful, the food was terrific and of course the resort it self is beautiful. From our rooms it was about a 2 min walk to the beach. Again being a large group we had rooms in three different buildings and every one was so pleased with the view they had.
We spent a lot of our time around the huge pool and took part in some of the planned activities led by staff and had a blast.
We ate mostly at the buffet because the food was excellent. Often the chefs would prepare to order right in front of you so freshness was never a concern. We would go as a group often and the staff always accommodated us with no extra effort. The el la carte restaurant we went to had Mediterranean and Thai food which again was great.
The only complaint would we could have made was that the night life was a little quiet for some members of the group, however some of us appreciated that very thing.
Three people from our group had been to Mexico last year and stated that this resort was much smaller but nicer than the one they had stayed at.
For a family vacation this resort was excellent. If you are looking for a hoping party spot, this isn’t it. If you want a very relaxed, friendly environment, this is it. We loved it.
