Who would guess I would have so much fun after beginning my career as a travel consultant.  With my education and travel experiences, I love to share my wealth of knowledge to clients to ensure they have a wonderful trip.  I entered the world of travel in the late 1980's.  I worked in the hotel industry for a few years, where my interest for travel was piqued.  I decided to pursue this career course, and attend Travel and Tourism at the NB Community College in St. Andrews and graduated in 1991.  I joined McGinn Travel and worked there for 15 years in Fredericton, and Moncton locations.  After the agency changed hands a few times, I decided that it was time for me to buy my own franchise with Travel Professionals International.  Since that decision in January 2007, I have not looked back!

 

I have travelled quite a bit over the years to exciting places as Australia, Africa, Europe, Caribbean, Mexico, Mediterranean and throughout North America including Alaska and Hawaii.   My accommodations have varied from 2 man, pup tents to youth hostels to The Plaza on 5th Avenue in NY. 

 

Just imagine, I have ......played at the Casino in Monte Carlo, climbed Mt. Kilimanjaro, scuba dived the Great Barrier Reef, walked on Alaskan Glaciers, walked down the Grand Canyon, rode in a hot air balloon over the Serengeti at sunrise, travelled to the top of the Eiffel Tower, went sand sledding and fed wild dolphins by hand at Moreton Island,  kissed the Blarney Stone on the Great Emerald Isle, ate the most delicious grapes from a vineyard in Naples, watched the Pope at the Vatican, viewed Gaudi's work in Spain and seen the most incrediblel views all over.   I just returned from a 7 day Greek Island cruise - it was amazing! Came home repacked and set off for a Mediterranean Cruise.  What a life!

 

What's my favorite destination?  Good question and a hard one, as each place is unique and special in it's own right....I enjoyed each and every trip I have been fortunate to go on.  I would have to say, that Greece, Australia and Africa were at the top of the list - there is so much diversity and the adventures were endless.
